As Main Contractor, Western was proud to play a leading role in delivering this modern, purpose-built healthcare facility, bringing together innovative construction methods, technical expertise and the collaboration of a dedicated project team.
Bringing Better Healthcare Closer to the Community
Located at Willowbrook Health Centre in Corby, the Community Diagnostic Centre represents a significant investment in local healthcare services.
The facility has been developed to improve access to essential diagnostic services, allowing patients to receive important tests closer to home, without always needing to travel to larger hospital sites.
With capacity to deliver approximately 93,000 diagnostic tests each year, the centre provides a wide range of services, including MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, echocardiography, respiratory and cardiac investigations, blood tests and dementia diagnostics.
By increasing local diagnostic capacity, the centre will help support earlier diagnosis, improve patient access and reduce pressure on acute hospital services.
