Western often describe how our modular building solutions offer a range of advantages, including cost savings, time efficiency, sustainability, flexibility, and scalability. To actually deliver on all of these benefits is something different. But we did just this on a recently completed project with Harland & Wolff.

Our project with H&W involved moving an existing building to another location. This demonstrates our modular solutions as a practical choice for various construction applications. Western’s modular structure was dismantled, relocated, and reused allowing H&W’s initial investment in a modular solution to be recouped. The building has been repurposed to meet changing needs and this adaptability has extended the building’s functional life, making it a versatile asset.

Our approach has a lower environmental impact compared to demolishing a building and disposing of the debris in landfills and it helps to reduce carbon emissions associated with new construction. Throughout this project, Western used sustainable construction practices by reusing existing materials and structures, reducing the need for new resources, and minimising waste.
