Western were contracted by Harland and Wolff to build a new Amenities Building at their Headquarters in Belfast. This was a steel frame modular constructed building, consisting of 64 modules. The building was designed to provide the work force of Harland and Wolff with catering facilities, showering, toilets, and locker rooms. The building was complete with a designed plant room to facilitate heating and showers within the build.
Western completed a design and build for our longstanding client Harland & Wolff. Western provided a full turnkey solution in an accelerated programme. The building was constructed from a Structural Steel Modular Frame and included innovative features to improve and enhance acoustic and heat retention capability and performance. All internal fixtures and fittings were manufactured and supplied by Western. This included:
- Fitted Kitchens
- Door Sets
- Fitted WCs
- Office Furniture
- Glazed Screens
- Full M&E
- uPVC
- A-rated windows.
The building was finished with Plastisol steel cladding colours to match H&W company colours.
