Build of a New Modular Accident & Emergency Facility for the Royal Group of Hospitals Belfast. The modular system build structure also incorporated a modular plant room situated at 1st floor level. Western was responsible for the structural design, construction, installation, and turnkey completion of the facility.
This complex project produced many obstacles that were overcome by Western, due to the vast experience of our dedicated team in working around a live hospital environment. As all prefabricated elements were constructed off-site in Western’s purpose built factory, all building elements were pre-assembled to eliminate wet trades and therefore expedite programme.
