We were delighted to be part of NI Apprenticeship Week 2026 at W5 Belfast, and what a brilliant event it was.
Our team spent the day meeting students from across Northern Ireland, chatting about construction careers, apprenticeships, and what it’s really like to build your future with Western. It was great to speak with so many enthusiastic young people and answer questions about the wide range of opportunities available within the construction industry.
A huge thank you to CITB NI for hosting such a fantastic event, and to everyone who stopped by our stand to say hello, ask questions, and learn more about what we do. The level of interest and engagement throughout the day made it a truly rewarding experience for our team.
For anyone considering a career in construction, apprenticeships continue to be a great place to start 👷♀️. They offer practical, hands-on learning while gaining valuable qualifications and real industry experience.
