Western Building Systems has completed a major new contract at Greystones Community National School, Co Wicklow. The project forms part of the Department of Education and Skills wider Rapid Build Schools Delivery Framework.
Western Building Systems commented, “We are delighted that hundreds of pupils will now get access to their new 3-storey school. Staff and pupils are now able to move out of the prefab buildings where they have been situated for the past six years and the new school will hopefully benefit the surrounding community for decades to come”.
Over the duration of the project, Western Building Systems created 26 new jobs in the Greystones area.
“The quality of the build is something we’re really proud of and we couldn’t have achieved it without a dedicated team of sub-consultants and appointed professionals, and the local workforce we employed to assist with the project. We would like to thank the surrounding community for their support throughout the entire construction process.”
